AER MARCOM LIMITED is the data controller in respect of your personal data. This means we are responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is collected and used.

  • Usage data relating to your access to Membership content, collected via our membership platform (Podia).

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To send you occasional marketing emails about our products and services where you have consented or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so. You may opt out at any time.

  • To analyse how our website is used and to improve our content and services (using anonymised analytics data).

  • To comply with legal and regulatory obligations.

5. Marketing Emails

We may occasionally send you marketing emails about our services, new content, or offers. We will only do so where:

  • You are an existing customer and we are contacting you about similar products or services (soft opt-in under Irish ePrivacy regulations).

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email we send, or by contacting us directly at admin@aermarketing.ie. Opting out of marketing emails will not affect our ability to contact you about your account or purchases.

6. Third-Party Data Processors

We use the following third-party services which may process your personal data on our behalf. Each operates under their own privacy policy and, where required, under a data processing agreement with us:

Podia (Podia Labs, Inc.)

Our Membership content is hosted and delivered via Podia. Member account data and usage data is stored on Podia’s platform. Podia’s privacy policy is available at podia.com/privacy.

Stripe

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our systems. Stripe’s privacy policy is available at stripe.com/ie/privacy.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymised data about how visitors use our website. This data helps us understand traffic patterns and improve our content. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect this information. 8. How Long We Keep Your Data

  • Client and membership account data: retained for the duration of your relationship with us, plus 6 years thereafter in line with Irish statutory limitation periods.

  • Payment and billing records: retained for 7 years in line with Irish Revenue requirements.

  • Marketing contact data: retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you.

  • Website analytics data: retained in anonymised form in accordance with Google Analytics’ data retention settings.

When data is no longer required, we will delete or anonymise it securely.

9. Your Rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • Right of access: you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Right to rectification: you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

  • Right to erasure: you may ask us to delete your personal data in certain circumstances.

  • Right to restrict processing: you may ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

  • Right to data portability: you may request your data in a structured, commonly used format.

  • Right to object: you may object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.

  • Right to withdraw consent: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

If you are not satisfied with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Payment data is processed via Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Membership data is stored on Podia’s secure platform.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Where changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you, for example by email or a notice on our website.
